First Presbyterian Church

Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church, a vibrant community of faith located at 1605 Genesee Street, Utica, New York. As a cherished place of worship, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals and families can come together to explore their spirituality and deepen their faith.

During August, we welcome you to our services at FPC, with parking accessible on the street or in our church's lot off Elm Street.

Experience thought-provoking, creative, and meaningful sermons delivered by Rev. Mark Caruana, accompanied by inspiring music that enriches your worship experience. Whether you're a long-time member or a first-time visitor, you'll find a place here at First Presbyterian Church.

"This is a great family outreach/ service ministry that provides free groceries once a month normally on the 1st or 2nd and the quantity is based on family size. Be sure to have your state ID or driver's license along with insurance cards for your children for verification purposes. They also require a lease or a utility bill. They have free adult and children books along with a place to get clothing. The clothing closet is welcome to anyone as long as the facility is open."

"The Church Needs To Go In A New Direction. It Has Chimes Not The Best Condition But Could Do So Much More With Handbells. There Are So Many Other Churches In Utica Area That Do Have Handbells With Choir Chimes. With Membership In So Many Churches Around The Area Down & Drastically Reclining It Is Time To Rethink and Implement Plan B, Plan C. There are a few Among You Who Are Very Gifted & Have Wonderful Ideas. Now If Your Church Would Just Listen To You & Tryout Your Ideas. Maybe Then They Would Be In A Better Place."
