Reviews
"My husband and I visit my Aunt and Uncle here every year. It is a beautiful and peaceful cemetery."
"My brother has been buried there for almost 20 yrs. So have my grandmother and mom. It’s always clean no matter how long no one has visited. All names on stones weather standing or flat a visible including the ones that been there since the 1800’s that I’m sure no one visits. The place is beautiful."
"The old Victorian section of the cemetery with lots of impressive statues and lush tree cover is a perfect place for a walk and some reflection. There is a downloadable self guided tour map on their website that shows the graves of prominent people buried in the cemetery. They also have story stones, which are stone markers with engraved stories of the cemetery and snippets of some literature."
"Beautiful, peaceful cemetery with deep history amongst its rolling hills and curving pathways. The older part, on the Forest Hills side, is a lot more interesting with its old majestic graves than the newer part, the Briarwood side. The Briarwood side is really close to the E / F subway station."
