"New calamity--especially for Avalon North. An Indian food cart on the sidewalk, 47th Avenue at Center Blvd. Insists on his right to flash lighting, on New York State land. Yes, all of Queens West is state land, leased to the buildings. And this guy may be the first of those ubiquitous hot dog vendors, if not stopped now. Where is Van Bramer now???!!!"

"Being a resident in Long Island City, Hunters Point I have to give this parks development as of now a low grate, sorry... Facilities such as a basic toilet do not exist at this time. The lights (parks/street lights) situated all over this development DO NOT WORK. the lights do NOT come on after dark, only a very few. Also not enough garbage cans for people to get rid of recycles etc. when visiting this waterfront park. It's a beautiful spot on the east river, but not managed so well.. and it shows..."
