"The lady wit the small car kind of old. She prepared my taxes and I went back Friday she was rude soon she seen it was me and said she didn’t want to prepare my Taxes cause she thought my kids wasn’t mine. Same last name I pay support for my kids I had all the proof but I felt uncomfortable cause she felt uncomfortable so I left. If I looked like her it would have been no problem but being as tho I look the way I do I was treated as if I stole something or they was expecting me to be a tax thief."
"Lary at the Ilion NY branch is by far the most knowledgeable tax adviser . His service is excellent and he is true to his word and backs you when you need help. I've gone to Larry for several years and he is the reason I go to Jackson and Hewitt I unfortunately will no longer be a customer your tax preparation fees are threw the roof and I had to pay almost half my rebate in fees . This is of no fault of Larry's like mentioned he goes above and beyond with his service. I don't have 3 or more kids to get the massive rebate so your 300 to 500 dollar fees wouldn't matter I will doing my taxes on my own next year. I do thank Larry for all the wonderful help he has been !"

"My wife and I had our 2019 taxes done at the Ilion Jackson Hewett. We owed money to the state and federal and gave the man our debit card to pay the taxes and to pay for doing the taxes. We thought everything was taken care. Now, 6 months later we are getting letters from the IRS and NY State that we haven’t paid our taxes. I called the JH office and got told “We’ll, I don’t know what to tell you…I ran the card. There’s nothing I can do about it.” Really? We came to a professional tax preparer to avoid this kind of thing and to make sure our taxes were done right. I could have done them myself and made sure they were paid! I would never recommend this office to anyone, nor will I ever go back there! Worst tax experience I’ve ever had anywhere and now I have to pay interest!"
