"When you are taking the paved path down take the first path past the fence, then follow the rocks to nearly the bottom( the Old Creek bed to your left) There is no sign on the fence. There used to be years and years ago. There is a large perimeter fence around the tree. I do suggest pants, but I was not wearing them it's the woods, so be careful of thorns and gnats"

"Street parking is closest to Horace Harding service road. Enter there and follow ramp half-way down the ravine next to Highway, (LIE) -as you turn from road to ravine 50ft further there is a path on left (unmarked) which leads to bottom of ravine. The path overlooks the ravine and is steep, the tree is across the ravine and has a chain link fence around it."
