Welcome to the Brooklyn Public Library - East Flatbush Branch, located at 9612 Church Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Serving the community since 1945, our library stands as a vibrant and vital cultural and civic center for everyone. Following a comprehensive renovation, we reopened in June 2023 with a stunning new design featuring a bright and inspirational space for reading, studying, and learning. Our updated facilities include a brand new community meeting room and a dedicated children's area, catering to the 70% of our patrons who are children and young adults.
At the East Flatbush Branch, you can borrow up to three tools at a time from the Greenpoint Library, explore museum passes to over 80 cultural institutions, and access resources to assist in genealogical research. We are proud to offer a variety of programs and community events, making our library a hub of activity and learning.
