"Difficult but insanely worthwhile in my opinion. It's pretty beautiful and I would recommend bringing some food because eating at some of the rock scramble facing the ocean is just awesome. The rocks are nice seats."

"Amazing cliffs worth hiking. Fortunate to pick a dry and mild day, was able to spot some lizards and snakes on the rock scrambles. A few areas do have poison ivy encroaching into the paths, but easy to maneuver around. If you're susceptible to poison ivy, just be mindful of where you're walking and placing your hands. For experienced hikers this shouldn't be too difficult of a trek. Beginners may find some areas difficult to make their way, but a little patience and mindful footing and it shouldn't be too bad. Did the long trail and shore trail loop in about 2.5hrs, at a moderate pace. I would say plan at least 3 to 4 hours to be on the safe side. One of my favorite NJ hikes, along side Mt Tammany."

"If you are hiking for scenery and attractions, then this may not be for you. This trail is mainly for those who enjoys hiking and want a more challenging or thrilling hike. The hike is not extremely difficult, but it does make you work for it. I do not recommend going on this trail in the Winter or after a rainy day. The Winter cold will make the rocks very slippery. Not only that, but the waterfall, one of the few photographic attractions, may then be frozen over. Similar to the ice and cold, the wet mud will make it more difficult and dangerous to hike after a rainy day. Most importantly, do not go in the evening or at night. Low visuals will make this hike extremely dangerous! Other than that, stay safe and hope you enjoy this trail as I did. By the way, the entire hike from start to end is roughly 3.5 hours."
