"Definitely improved over the years. Platform was looking horrible with cracks and craters in it. But, all that has been fixed. I use this station daily in my commute home. Never too crowded. Always clean. Pretty cool station. Plus, once you leave the station you have a bunch stores and businesses you can checkout in the St. Albans area. Overall it's not as fancy as some stations, but it's quiet and clean."
"Great neighborhood, 30 minute commute to city. The station can use somemore additional service so pay attention to the schedule. Platform is clean but it,needs repairs in some sections. There is a connection to the Q4 bus to the Jamaica ave subway station and to Cambria heights."
"The platform has eroded in certain areas and can be a trip hazard. There's 2 canopies on the both ends of the platform. Many people use this station as an overpass since a bit of Montauk Pl. is fenced off."
