"My fiance and I took a tour during the day. The grounds were beautiful & way larger than we originally anticipated. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. We would love to come back closer to Halloween and take one of the ghost tours."

"A fantastic place for a quiet walk and bit of history! The cemetery is huge and has many levels - can be driven if walking is difficult. Google maps has many of the famous graves listed and they're easy to locate. Dogs are allowed on leash and must be picked up after (bring your own bags). Bathrooms are available at the main building at the entrance but toilet paper is not guaranteed. Make sure to take a walk by the river!"

"A must visit in Sleepy Hollow! The cemetery is well kept and beautiful especially during fall foliage. We took a daytime tour with Tal and he was amazing! His tour was filled with humor and historic stories."

"As odd as it may seem to visit the cemetery for any other reason than for a funeral or to visit a passed loved one, this is a "tourist attraction" in Sleepy Hollow. That said, it houses the resting place for many formerly famous individuals, including the author of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. One can book ghost tours, history tours, or simply wander the cemetery on your own. The large and old cemetery itself is well kept and beautiful, being well worth the visit if you are curious. It's especially interesting to visit in October as thsts the spooky season in which the town of Sleepy Hollow comes alive. If you are interested in attending one of the various tours offered during the month of October, I would highly recommend booking as far in advance as possible because there sell our quickly due to their popularity. Additionally the are other must see landmarks within the cemetery grounds, such as the Dutch Reformed Church mentioned in the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and the old headless horseman's bridge (built resembling the bridge Icabod Crain crossed in the Legend)."
