"Nothing really exciting about it. It's the idea of it that gets you there. The coolest thing is walking around the graveyard. The Headless Horseman bridge was a "Oh, that's it" moment."
"A glorious piece of history! We truly enjoyed our quick visit inside the church. A gorgeous organ and beautiful chandelier are highlights of this very quaint little church. The front door was open and only one person inside the church when we visited. The atmosphere was surprisingly inviting."
"Cool historic church and cemetery to walk around. Washington Irving gravesite and Andrew Carnegie are a few of the famous folks that are buried here. Also famous for Washington Irving’s Headless Horseman tale."
"The actual church that is part of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This is a private cemetary and church. The church is open for visitors as are the cemetery grounds. You can find Washington Irving's grave on site just follow the signs. Please be respectful of mourners and stay away from funerals that may be happening."
"Found the visit to be somewhat interesting. Parking is on a long stretch of road that snakes around and through the cemetery outside the church. And if its busy be prepared walk. Also, the parking spots towards the entrance of the church run small. The church itself was cool to see being that it is still running. The old pulpit and the organ are a site to see. Overall I think my sleepy Hollow experience would've been better without my kids, and being able to experience it at night."
