Nestled in the serene landscape of Sleepy Hollow, New York, the Marcel Breuer House at Pocantico is a masterpiece of modern architectural history. Located at 200 Lake Road, this iconic house was designed by the renowned architect Marcel Breuer and has been under the stewardship of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF) since 2007. Originally deeded to the National Trust for Historic Preservation by the estate of Laurance S. Rockefeller, the house embodies the distinctive International Style that Breuer was celebrated for.

Since taking on its care, the RBF has meticulously restored the house to reflect Breuer's original vision. Restoration efforts have included removing modern alterations, such as a kitchen enclosure and enlarged garage, and reinstating features like the Carrara glass tile in the master bathroom and the authentic color scheme throughout the interior. The house is now furnished with historically accurate pieces, enhancing its architectural integrity.
