We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our community members. Denise McCowan, President of the Cheektowaga-Sloan Board of Education, has been honored with the prestigious Diana R. Miller Service to Education Award for 2024. Additionally, Dr. Dennis Dulniak, President of Nana’s Books and a 1969 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, generously donated 1,349 grade-appropriate books to our students at Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson schools.

Our district is at the forefront of innovative educational practices. Our restorative practices have been highlighted on National Public Radio (NPR), showcasing our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. We are also excited to announce our District Beautification & Athletic Facility Enhancement Capital Project for 2023, which aims to enhance our facilities for the benefit of all students.
