Canisius University: Bookstore

"I’m grateful that Canisius University’s Bookstore returned the call to me! I was inquiring with regard to Canisius University’s Auto Window decals. I had originally looked Online, but was unsuccessful finding anything! Ironically, Canisius University recently sent me a window decal that I can use. I had attended Canisius College for Graduate School. There I received my Master of Science in Education, Class of 1985. (But I had completed my requirements in December of ‘84.) I also had gone on to take additional Graduate School coursework, at both SUNY@ Amherst Campus. And at the University of Niagara University, Graduate School; just to extend my graduate education. I had considered back then to continue my education in a Post Graduate Program for a Doctorate Degree. But decided to change my mind. Prior to formerly entering both undergraduate and graduate schools, I had also served in the military, during the Vietnam War. I attended undergraduate & graduate schools when I was in my early to late 20s. And, as well, into my 30s when I had attended graduate schools. I also had taught school In grades: K - College, in a variety of academic disciplines. Now into my 70s. I feel Blessed to have achieved such an education! May God Bless all of the educational institutions I had attended!"

"Very disappointed. People who have full time jobs are not able to pick up books. The bookstore was supposed to close at 4pm and it closed earlier. I waited over a week for this week and I pay a lot of money to attend this college and when I showed up they wouldn't give me the book I rented. They said I have to come back after the weekend every though I explained I need the book for this weekend. They didn't care and shut the doors. I called ahead to tell them I am coming right before four and nobody picked up. I also left a voicemail earlier in the week wanting to cancel the order because I found the book cheaper somewhere else but nobody would get back to me. It's already the second week of classes and I still can't get my book. This is absolutely ridiculous."

"It's alright. Not great hours and it's only got a couple things in it."

"Hard working manager. Keeps the store running efficiently. Very clean. Cozy. Easy to get to in the basement of the student center."

"Prices are pretty high for textbooks, way more expensive than Amazon. I didn't purchase my books from there this year after a bad experience last year with their "price match" system. They "price match" but only by making you pay their price but giving the student a gift card for the school bookstore. The apparel is good, and sometimes you can find a good deal on the sale racks. The staff are very friendly though!"
