"While 401 South Avenue does house several types of organizations, the one most familiar to me was FACES (unsure if they still operate). In early 2017, FACES was excited about a Masquerade Ball fund raiser; 2 days before the event, it was canceled with the intention of a replacement ball in 2, or 3 months ahead. The replacement event never occurred, and there was not an explanation. Other events did take place as scheduled: 2017 Mayoral debate, and 2017 Tax Assistance. There is a pool, for summer months, a credit union, and a library. Per the Web site, there is also a Syracuse Police Satellite office, citizenship support, as well as a food pantry. While this center may not be the best, it is also not the worst."
