"Well, for starters, if your child has ADD, don't expect any help from the school on that. They're not very understanding on the matter and they will tell you each year that they will hook your child up with a counselor which never happens. Also, they've called me to tell me my child was marked absent when he was actually there. They didn't bother calling back to let me know it was a mistake on their part. They waited until I called back in a panic to tell me. Speaking of such things, another time, I was called from the school nurse and left a message that my child was sick and wanted to go home. I made arrangements with my boss to leave and pick him up. When i called the nurse back, she told me my son had gone back to class and was doing better. A phone call to tell me this would have been nice. The lady with brown hair in the main office is always rude when I see her. I'm not the only one to mention this. If she hates her job so much, why is she there? Why does she work with children? One day she called me, while I was at work, about my child's aunt picking him up. In an extremely nasty tone, she told me that a letter was needed, signed by us for the aunt to pick him up. I understand the rules and that letter was written and dropped off weeks prior to the incident. His aunt was in the system, but the woman did not look. She only assumed that we never wrote the note. It was absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. I am not pleased with this school."
