She completed her residency in internal medicine through the prestigious Hofstra/Northwell Health Program. Further honing her expertise, Dr. Qamar pursued a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento.

"This is the worst place I've ever been. They didn't take my daughter for her following shots because according to them we didn't want to pay the copayments. My husband got there earlier with my daughter for her appointment and I met them there to clarify and off course pay all pending payments that my insurance have already processed. They started yelling at us but you would've seen the receptionist's face so mad/angry/fustrated and delighted to treat us bad because I got there 10 min late and she made my dauther wait instead of let her in. I don't know why this location have people like her to treat the patient so unrespectfully. WE ARE THE PATIENTS THE ONES THAT MAKE THIS PLACE RUN. We are the ones that support this facility to be open and running. THIS IS A VERY DISAPPOINTED PLACE TO GO."

"Dr. Qamar is excellent! She truly cares for her patients, has excellent bedside rapport, and actually listens! I have never been left waiting for hours and her staff is equally outstanding. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a skilled allergist and overall caring human experience at the doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I trust her for both myself and my 7 year old son!"
