"We were looking for some berry picking in the area, usually we go farther down to do this. Discovered Windy Acre Orchard on Google Maps, decided to stop by. We got confused with parking between their market and berry picking facility. We ended up parking in the back, didn’t see any activity going on so we walked to the market in the front. We bought something to eat, walked to the back sat down on a bench to eat them. A few moments later this cashier with a very ugly attitude came out start yelling at us for parking in the back with a very angry tone it was very inappropriate. The place was empty, we were not blocking anyone or anything didn’t know it was a no parking area, no sign. She could just ask us to move the car. There was no need for her to use this ugly attitude. Earlier, when we were inside we all felt unwelcoming, just a bad vibe. However, we stopped by many places in Long Island. Other places were lovely filled with good vibes, relaxing with good service and people. Will never stop by this pace again. She was that bad! Shouldn’t be in the service business."

"I went with my husband on Sunday to pick your own peaches, blueberries, gooseberries, and red currant. Peaches are very juicy, but I wish they would taste sweeter. We had fun! We loved their fresh peach pie. We will come back soon."

"So do you go fruit and vegetable picking because it is a value? Probably not. So it's a little pricey Only because they charge you $12. A person just to enter the orchard. And then you have to pay Fifteen dollars for a peck sized box, Or $7 for a 1/2 Peck sized bag. But as long as it fits in the bag, or balances on top of the box, you can take it. Family of 6 spent about about 250. By the time the day was done. It was fun and worth it"

"Family friendly farm, with huge play ground for kids. I did apple picking with my friends, lots of varieties and it was so much fun. We also saw the pumpkin farm, and corn maze. The ice cream, apple and pumpkin donuts, and corns from their food court all delicious! Must try"

"Greatest experience EVER! The girls at the you-pick stand allowed us in at just around 4:30pm (which is the time for last entry, btw) and gave us almost an hour to pick any available fruits/vegetables that filled up a crate for $45! My family and I had so much fun, especially afterward when my kids played FOR FREE on the playground, set up with tons of wooden trains, pirate ships and jungle gyms!"
