"As others mentioned, they run a scam with the card machine. They told me 4 dollars for an item, and then quickly scanned my card out of sight with the machine for 5 Dollars. When I asked, they blamed it on new machines. Way to run a business!"

"Only go here if you have the exact amount in cash. They change the price and don't let you see the atm to scan your phone or card. If you use cash, they give you the incorrect change on purpose. Avoid this place if possible."

"The guy with a face piercing behind the counter was super rude and literally said he wished covid would happen every year. Next time I will be walking the extra block and going to Fairway."

"BE WARNED! The owner is a thief at the first opportunity! If I had the time I'd report them to the police. Not for a measly $20 the older women stole from me, but on the principal. I went in for a few items they didn't have and ended up buying only milk (out of date btw). I handed the women a $20 note, which she put in the cash register, when I found a smaller bill of $5, so I said "wait, I have something smaller", which she took so quickly (blindingly fast sleight of hand) had the $5 in the register and $3 change in my hand before I knew it. When I asked for my $20 back she started immediately screaming at me, which is when, if I had any doubt, which I didn't, knew for sure, her being so immediately defensive, that she was stealing my $20! On top of that I know I left the house with the only three $20 notes to my name and now counted only two. I remained calm and repeatedly reminded her of the twenty, which she emphatically, screamingly denied, until I just had to leave. I would avoid this lousy, thieving Deli at all costs!"

"Totally overpriced deli. It’s ran by an elderly Asian couple. So yes, if you are looking for value, this might not be the best place. However it is part of what makes New York so great, convenient and special. These 24 seven corner delis are quickly disappearing and being replaced by chains."
