"I remember as a child when we would find an injured or baby bird we would take it to Mrs. Bacon and she would rehabilitate it and let it go. ❤️"

"This is a nice spot for a wooded walk in the village, but not much more to do. The boy scouts do a good job to maintain it, but the brush in some areas can get rather thick. When the snow falls, it's a good spot for a magical snowshoe hike. No evident parking nearby and you have to follow the gravel path from the road between a pair of houses (almost through their back yards) to get in to the sanctuary itself."

"I was very disappointed to arrive here and to have a rock blocking the path since I am handicapped and cannot walk very far I used to drive down"
