Welcome to St. Patrick's Church, a vibrant and welcoming place of worship located at 302 Main Street, Owego, New York. As part of the Diocese of Rochester, we are committed to fostering a community grounded in faith, hope, and love, where the fruit of the Spirit flourishes and draws others to Christ.
Our Parish Vision is to build an atmosphere of faith that nurtures spiritual growth and community engagement. We invite you to join us in our journey of faith and to participate in our diverse programs and services.
Upcoming Events and Services:
- Valley Vespers: Join Fr. Lewis at Epiphany Church during Lent 2024 for a reflective evening service.
- First Friday Adoration: Celebrate Candlemas 2024 with us at St. John’s in Newark Valley.
- St. Patrick’s Fall Festival: Mark your calendars for a weekend of fun and fellowship on September 20 and 21, 2023. Participate in our Luminary Honors and Memorials to remember loved ones.
- Sacrament of Reconciliation: Available 30 minutes before each weekday Mass. For alternative times or if you've been away from the sacrament, please contact our parish office to schedule an appointment.
- Confirmation Preparation: A 2-year program starting in 8th grade. Registration is now open, with classes beginning in early October.
- First Communion and Penance Preparation: For children in grades 2 and up, taking place in Spring 2025. Registration begins in January.
We encourage regular Mass attendance as part of the preparation for receiving sacraments. Check our bulletin for the location of the First Saturday Mass each month.
Our community is dedicated to prayer and action. We pray for an end to abortion, diseases, and wars, and for unity in our world. We strive to continue the evangelization efforts of the Apostle Saint Bartholomew and follow the teachings of the Doctors of the Church: Sts. Alphonsus Liguori and Augustine.

"Went to their Fall Festival for their chicken BBQ and they were out of chicken by 1pm and the live music. The first band was a group of kids who shouldn't be playing in public. I heard more bad notes than good and the other band was definitely different. Good but I'm not fond of Hillbilly music. It was not country music"
