"I was told this is one of the best beaches in the world and you know what— I believe it! Pristine sand, roaring waves and Southampton charm. For a split second you’ll forget you’re in NY state. Bucket list item here."

"A stunning beach for the whole family! I fell in love instantly and since then have had the pleasure of coming twice. Very beautiful beach from the sands to the water. Dogs are welcome too! Nice restaurant on the beach that has limited seating and the best fish tacos you could have! Entertainment is a real surprise if you go on Sunday. I’ve seen complaints about parking here because it’s almost 52 dollars. It’s so worth the money! I have to honestly say the price is nothing. For one this is New York parking can be much higher especially for unlimited hours. Secondly you don’t have to be a resident of Southampton nor have a beach tag. Some of the beaches in the area require that. This is The Hamptons it’s a higher scale of living. So you must keep in mind cost will sometimes be above average. Two other alternatives I recommend if the parking is too much for you. Go further down to a beach in neighboring Long Island or come to Coopers beach in the evening when there is no fee to park."

"My partner and I visited this beach twice on vacation ( evening of 1st and daytime on 2nd July). This is a stunning beach, it is clean and well maintained with excellent facilities including outdoor showers, indoor toilets, a beach bar and free sunscreen stations. Life guards are also present during the day and beds / umbrellas can be hired out (collected around 4pm). The hire of two beds and umbrella cost us $51. Steep on price but we were on vacation and in the scorching heat, it was worth it. You can also take your own equipment which most people did. Daytime parking (9am-5pm) requires a permit costing $51. We arrived around 10am and were able to park without issue, however the car park filled up pretty quickly so I would recommend getting there early. Ensure you buy the permit as soon as you enter. Whilst it’s a hefty fee to pay, it’s an excellent day out. Parking is free after 5pm. When we attended in the evening there were plenty of spaces available (although I realise this is pre-peak season). The beach bar was opened until 7pm serving food and drinks. The white sangria was good. The indoor toilets close at around 5pm but portaloos are available. Evenings are free and very pleasant but the full day experience is worth the price tag."
