"This place is horrible because people dont follow the rules!! There's a fenced in area for a reason!! If I'm walking my leashed controlled dog around outside the fence I shouldnt worry about loose dogs coming up to us. Not only for my dogs safety but yours too! The whole park and creek isn't a dog park, just the area with the fence!!! There's a children's play ground there too, Numerous times I've had to yell at dogs coming up my car trying to get at my dog before he's even out. Be careful when you go here!!"
"Nice enough enough place but we were here for about 3 minutes before my dog was able to find a gap under the fence and escape. So I sit here in the rain waiting for her to tire out and return. Between that and the abundance of dog flowers left by other visitors I won’t be back. I might have done everybody a favor and cleaned up some of those but the bag dispenser seemed to be empty. I’ll spare you the pictures"
"This is a great place for locals to take their pups. There's a nice creek and pond nearby, and several walking trails. Unfortunately, this park in particular seems to attract a lot of terrible dog owners. Many people use fenced dog parks as a great opportunity to train their dogs outside of the fenced in dog park, on a lead - either for reactivity, or general obedience skills like loose-leash walking, recall, heel, etc. In fact, this park in particular has a sign with a clearly written rule that all dogs must be on lead outside of the fenced in portion. I was training my rescue pup today, at least 40-50 feet away from the fence, when someone drove up and proceeded to immediately let their off-leash dog run free, well before reaching the fence. This owner did not attempt to recall his dog. As expected, this caused my dog to have a very emotional response, ruining what had been an extremely positive training session. Worse still, this owner admitted knowing that presenting a leashed dog with one off leash causes reactivity. It's inevitable that a portion of all populations with have selfish and idiotic individuals, however, this park seems to have a greater than average percentage."
"It's an okay park and a great place. However; becareful with some dogs my 7 month old great dane got attacked by 2 fully grown pitbulls and the owners did not have them on their leash as if was there first time going to a dog park. Sadly after getting the situation under control the owners and the dogs where no where to be found."
"Great fenced in space for dogs to run around in. Separated by size which is nice. Plenty of spare toys for pups to play with! Very clean and has a creek across the parking lot for the pups to swim in! Loved it."
