"My Maytag washer crapped out, so I went to the Milton ave laundry, and discovered that it is now a convenience store. Still wanting to do a load of clothes, I headed to W Genesee Street, where I was once turned off, due to the patrons. Using a commercial washer was new to me, so I didn't start when I wanted. When the wash/spin cycle finished, I looked to buy some fabric softener sheets, but I set my bagged quarters down; someone got an instant payday. I ended up taking the load home, where I dried with my own fabric softener sheet. I'll call Maytag to check out my washer soon."

"Bathroom shouldn't be locked in a 24 hour Laundromat, really inconvenient. Machines are dated and leave clothes smelly."

"This is one of the nicest laundromats in the Syracuse area. For the most part. The staff is pretty attentive and while machines do break down sometimes, they're quick to write it up and give you a refund. The place is clean, the machines work well, etc. The washing machines have been recently upgraded so you can swipe, insert, or tap your card to pay for your wash. One downside is that the dryers weren't upgraded at the same time, so you'll still need cash to dry your laundry. The biggest issue is one of public decency and not the location or staff. For some bizarre reason some people think it's fine to start their laundry in the washer, or transfer it to the dryer, and then leave for literal HOURS. It takes me about 3 hours to wash/dry/fold/load up and I've seen laundry that's already finished that the attendant says has been there for several hours by the time I arrive still sitting there when I leave. I don't understand why you'd trust the rest of the public not to touch your things, but also why you'd be so inconsiderate and rude as to take up a machine for 6+ hours because you can't be bothered to come change or retrieve your things. Don't be one of those people."

"Clean. A couple of the washers smelled musty, but I've seen the employees washing them inside & out. Only 4 stars because a couple trips back one of the washers I was using started leaking water out of the closed door. Pretty heavy flow. When I alerted the employee she all but blamed me. She kept asking what I did wrong, like overfill it or one of my articles of clothing was trapped between the door & machine. I'm a laundry nerd... I double check everything & NO WAY would I overfill- the clothes don't get clean. Anyhoo-, she was pretty rude about the whole thing. Going to the laundromat is hard enough without dealing with a crabby employee! Otherwise it's a great place to wash the grime away."

"As an artist, I'm adverse to sunlight. Lucky for me, this location is 24 hours, so I can go here in the dead of night and as a bonus avoid most human interaction. It's always clean and the attendant is really nice. Oh yeah, and my laundry ends up cleaner than when I went in and I can't ask for much more than that."
