"I was sent to be at Americold in Syracuse @ a 7 am appointment. The staff in their drivers check-in was fantastic, and very polite. The young lady I spoke with was as considerate as one could hope for. They ask that the driver wait for their staff to come out and remove the trailer seal. It only took a few minutes for someone to come out and pull my seal, again, polite and prompt. As I said, my appt was 7 am. By 8:10, I had received a phone call stating my trailer was unloaded and my paperwork was ready for me. This place is as good today as any I have encountered, and a level for others to strive for. I would be extremely happy to return to this receiver anytime. Great job folks, keep up the great work!"
"Shipping and recieving is in the first building before docks . No specific overnight parking but they allow park in front of the reafer docs in last building . Friendly people Quickly unloaded , it took 2 hours for full load . Clean driver lounge and rest rooms next to the shipping and recieving ."
"Reading these reviews made me somewhat annoyed didn't wanna come here but man my experience was different appt. 9am checked in 8:45am was put in a door right away loaded and out by 10:08 other trucks were moving along pretty quick too"
"Overnight parking, and plenty of room. Arrived at 0730 for an 0800, and was put into a door immediately. Open doors, back in, and wait. 0700-0800 loads receive priority. They have a sign that says such in the check in office. Staff was pleasant. I'd come back again."
"One of the worst places of (Americold logistics) I’ve ever been. The people are very slow workers, more than 80% working capacity is Not being used ( you will see in the pictures) waiting time more then two hours above your appointment’s time. After finishing my unloading , I have to wait hours to get my paperwork. Those employees lives around here, and they don’t care about the drivers how long they have to drive"
