"I wish I could give five stars because Dr Corso is a fantastic, phenomenal dentist who I had been a patient of for close to 12 years and he's the reason I have 3 stars instead on 1. I've sent multiple referrals to his office over the years, and highly recommend him all the time. Unfortunately, when I had a job change, my new insurance only allowed me to go to Aspen which was an absolute nightmare. I've since left that job and my new insurance allows me to go anywhere, so I was very excited to call the office and return as a patient after about 6 years of being away. Teresa answered the phone and immediately sounded annoyed that the call would be more than just an appointment booking to handle when I told her I would like to return. She told me that they're not accepting any more patients with my insurance at this time. It was my understanding that the office has never accepted any particular kind of insurance and they just always submitted the bill as a courtesy as an out-of-network provider, leaving me responsible for any remaining balance knowing there was no agreed upon amount with any insurance company. That's how It had always been done in the past. So I asked her if I could just pay the bill myself and then submit the bill to my insurance myself and she said, "No, because that's fraud". Whaaaaat??? I was stupefied and questioned how paying the bill out-of-pocket, then submitting the bill to my insurance would constitute fraud, and she said she doesn't know but that she thought the doctor's information would need to be included on the bill when I submitted it and that I would need to ask my insurance company if I was allowed to do that. I'd be happy to call my insurance company and ask them if I can do that, but that does not constitute FRAUD! I said, "I guess I can't return then"? She said, "No". Nice customer service ya got there. Keep in mind, my husband is a patient there, who I referred when we were dating. We just don't have the same insurance. If you can get in the chair with Dr Corso, I guarantee you a fantastic, 5-star, great experience with a wonderful dentist, but that's only if you can get past, Marjorie from Fraggle Rock first."
