At John Minye DDS, we understand that your dental health is a reflection of your overall well-being. Our services include replacements for missing teeth, such as dentures, bridges, and implants, ensuring your smile is both functional and beautiful.

We prioritize infection control and adhere to the highest standards of sterilization and cross-contamination prevention, following guidelines set by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Our office is in contract with several insurance companies, including Ameritas and Excellus. We process all forms of insurance and offer courtesy billing. Our knowledgeable office manager, Gayle, is available to assist you with any questions regarding your dental insurance coverage.

We are open Monday through Thursday, from 8 am to 5 pm, and closed for lunch from 12 to 1 pm. "If you are told that you need a filling after your cleaning, expect to wait about 4 months, possibly longer. In my case that resulted in a crown rather than a filling. Dr. Minye is very kind, but he bought the practice in 2021, then sold it to Summit Dental Group about 1 year later. Last year we were told the long wait for fillings was due to poor work by Dr. Swartwood, although that backup still exists 2 years later, and we never had any issue w/ Dr. Swartwood for 15+ years. Upon returning from Florida, we noticed that someone threw a rock through the sign that still has Dr. Swartwood's name on it, although he moved 2 years ago. So, we found another Dentist. The new Dentist told me that the 3 fillings that Dr. Minye recommended aren't necessary."

Dr. Minye is a highly experienced, competent dentist with superb, friendly staff (excellent assistant and hygienist - I've had several cleanings) No one likes to have dental problems, but he is as engaging, gentle and calming as a dentist could possibly be. Each step in any process (I've had a crown replaced on one tooth, and am in process of an implant for another) is fully explained before it happens ... no surprises. Try him, and you'll stay with him."
