"I ordered a Birthday cake for my Grandson at the last minute. When I called around 7:30 am to check if they had cake for that day, I was told yes by a very friendly young Lady. I asked for a football cake that was a big hit with my 11 yr old Grandson. The person who decorated his cake did an AMAZING JOB. I couldn't have been more pleased. So I Thank the Decorator and the girl who answered the phone for both doing a great job. It was much appreciated!!!"
"Definitely worth the drive. When the "H" bakery went corporate it lost something, the Gingerbread replaced it. The iconic white frosting is ridiculously good. Utica's legendary half moons are still small batch made by the Gingerbread Bake shop!"
"Gingerbread bake shop is the best bakery in Oneida County. They have the best cakes, icing, and half moons. We connected with Jaime to get a cake baked for our wedding. It came out beautiful! We went with layers of raspberry and lemon cake with raspberry cream and buttercream icing. It was absolutely delicious. They don’t use artificial coloring which is a plus! I HIGHLY recommend Gingerbread Bake Shop for all baked goods and beautiful wedding cakes."
"They quote one price, charge you another price and refuse to give a refund. Ordered a cake for a five year old boy they told me it would cost $35.40. When my husband went to pick it up they charged him $47.68! Then when I called to ask why the huge increase they said I should have only been charged $41. The cake clearly was not worth $50. It was not a normal sized half sheet cake. It was thinking and not great tasting. I will never order from them again over priced and not worth the money. Even their pies at Thanksgiving were awful. Not good business when you over charge and refuse a refund or store credit at their mistake. If you want good baked goods go elsewhere!! Would never recommend this place to anyone!"
