"I came here on weekday morning , and there’s no waiting line. The chocolate babka is really good - very rich doughs and a lot of chocolate melted in between the doughs. The chocolate rugelach is also nice, and the texture feels like a combination of croissant and babka. The staff is friendly."
"Cute little coffee shop and bakery. I had the latte, and it was very good. Also got the feta and spinach quiche, and that again was very good. Although it was extremely tiny in size. You also tried the strawberry tart, which again was very good, but again was very small in size. The interiors are very compact and has an industrial feel. Might not be the best place for you, if you’re looking for a relaxed and brunchy vibe. All the food was great, but my main complain was around how expensive it was given the portion size."
"I’ve loved Breads for YEARS since I was a student. It’s such a great treat to splurge on yourself. Their pastries are so light and high quality and so worth it. The babka is my favorite. But for to-go snacks, the cinnamon roll and almond croissants are perfect. They’re not stodgy at all."
"I got the regular croissant and chocolate rugelach. They are both good! Will come back to try other stuff. There’re only few chairs inside. Not really a cafe to dine-in"
"Hard to say if I love their almond croissant (awarded as the best almond croissant in NYC) more or the one I had in BUKA in Copenhagen 2 years ago…both sensational in their own way! Also enjoyed the coconut chocolate chip cake (moist and light!) and chocolate rugelach! Just don’t order an English breakfast tea…you’ll probably get an earl grey."
