"11/10 BBQ. Probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. So flavorful and melted off the bone. Didn’t need the sauces at all but those were delicious as well - that vinegar sauce was too good. Patrick was lovely to talk to and great service overall."
"I'm in the area for Cooperstown dream park. It's pouring, this place was definitely worth the drenching for my takeout. I had bbq the previous two days at larger scale restaurants. They both fail in comparison to this joint. Ok this place is small, all the better, they keep it fresh! The decor is not fancy, they keep it simple, and it stands out in their bbq, their sauces are good too, but honestly the meat was so moist you don't need the sauces. I had the two meats plate pulled pork and beef brisket with slaw and cornbread. It was all slamming good. If you drive by this joint it's your loss. Sorry no photos, my appetite wouldn't allow me to pause on the bbq."
"We had just arrived from Rockledge, Fl with tired & exhausted family of 8. It was 10 after 8 when we stopped at the first pizza restaurant & they were already closed so we headed towards town & saw the doors opened here so we stopped. They said they would stay open to serve us to go orders. & boy we are still talking about how Big the portions, amazing everything, delicious flavor & great prices for a home amoked meat dinner. Thanks again!"
"Meat is full of flavor, the smoky goodness doesn't need to hide in BBQ sauce. The service was friendly and attentive. Great conversation while we were there. You can tell they are passionate about their food and they appreciated us letting them know how great it is. The service is provided by the people actually cooking the food. The booths were relocated from another favorite diner on the other side of Oneonta, but could be spaced a bit further apart for us voluptuous ladies. It's not a big or fancy place, but the characters in it and the amazing food made it a great time"
