"Awful experience with hertz!!!!!!!!! Disappointing Experience with Hertz - Vestal Branch Rental Agreement #: 173583130 I apologize for the delay in posting this review, but I felt compelled to share my experience due to ongoing issues with Hertz's customer service. Throughout this past month, I have struggled to reach a Hertz representative despite spending 30-45 minutes on hold each time. My friend and I had separate reservations, but we encountered significant problems at the Vestal branch. The employee, George, refused to provide a car to my friend because the reservation was made only three days in advance. This situation raises concerns about Hertz's booking system: if there are limited cars available, why are customers allowed to make reservations that can't be honored? Proper inventory management would prevent such issues and ensure reservations are only accepted if vehicles are available. Additionally, George made an inappropriate and offensive joke that he dismissed as a mere joke, but it was clearly offensive and unprofessional. Our experience didn’t end there. The car we received was not clean, and we documented this with photographs taken at pickup with timestamp. Furthermore, the booking indicated the car had a half tank of gas, but it was actually lower, and we have photos to support this as well. Overall, the experience at the Vestal branch was extremely disappointing, compounded by the difficulty in reaching customer service for resolution. I hope Hertz addresses these issues promptly to prevent future occurrences. at least now i am expecting a response and solution for this from owner of this account."

"I rent a car there about three times a month for my extended stay here in Vestal.... All I asked was a simple ride back and I know the place was busy so I wasn't sure but the response .... We can't keep doing this for customers it's getting ridiculous and then BEING TOLD TO LEAVE WHILE WAITING FOR MY UBER WAS JUST NOT RIGHT!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE IN ANY FORM !!! A simple yes or no we are super busy and don't have any couriers at the present I would have hemmed and hawed but understood but BEING TOLD TO GET OUT WAS JUST UNACCEPTABLE!!!!"

"Worst place. I had a booking, but they didn't provide a car. The guy there, Jorge, is super RUDE. What's the point of booking in advance if they don't have cars? Update: I called in the afternoon of the first day, and another employee offered a Tesla for the same price. When I went the next day, only Jorge was available, and he refused to give me a car. They ended up providing a 15-passenger bus, which wasn't even full of fuel. They documented the start of the rent at 8:00 even though I didn't get the bus until 8:35."

"If I could give 0 star, I would definitely do that. They gave me an electric car which turned to have a broken battery. Every 50 miles, I had to find a charging station and waiting for 90 min for charging. Each charging time I paid almost 25 dollars. People do get electric cars not to pay for gas while this broken car cost 10 times more than an amount I would pay for gas. I went to the office to complain about the car, the person was very rude and was yelling. I definitely not suggest anyone renting from this place. Not only you are being scammed by given a broken car, but also you are going to be the one whom is being yelled at. I will never rent a car from this place again."

"My insurance rented a car for me due to an accident I was in and my car was at the body shop. When I first checked in the woman there was extremely nice but when went to return it a day earlier than it was supposed to be I had the car for 8 days and we were responsible for the insurance at $12 a day now my math is 12x8 =$96 but they ripped me off and charged for 9 days and I kept telling the very very rude man Jorge that he was charging me for 9 days then I called customer service and she was rude and I said on a recorded line do not charge my account $108 told her 3 times not to take that money out of my account and said the only money they are to take is !96. But long and be hold today they took out the $108 Do not rent from them they rip you off. And who ever responds to this review do not send it to the local manager they do nothing for you but treat you like garbage"
