"besides events like the Halloween they have Santa's village. going on during the summer they have a giant chess board, there are a few people that are there to spread the word of God but they only talk to you as an equal not to bother you or take time away from your busy schedules it is a constant rest area in the summer for those staying in the hotel it gives them a little area as well many bands have played in this area in the past as well as different food vendors popping up from time to time right in the heart of downtown many community associations use the space as well between the colleges, farmers food market, many more"
