"With the closing of longtime Totowa iconic eatery Pappy's some months ago, It seemed like Totowa would have a huge void in quick eateries. Enter into the food foray just across the street Totowa Hot Dogs. The building is unpretentious and small, with generic decor for a food stand and the menu is limited. It is this simplistic approach that provides this business's success; limited menu (hot dogs, chips, soda - with a few occasional specials) leading to lower prices (which in these days of spiraling inflation is a boon to anyone's wallet). It also bears out a higher quality food product. Of course when you start with Sabrett's hot dogs, you know you're getting a top brand dog. The toppings are quite good, the chili having a nice kick to it, and the umbrellaed tables a relaxing outside venue. C &C soda, a favorite local brand of mine, is available here. The service is quite pleasant and efficient, and all told, this is one very nice place to grab a quick dog. I will be making future visits here definitely."
"Was turned on to this place by a friend as he knows we travel All over the area seeking out good hotdogs and trust me when I say All Over.. this place ranks right up there with some of the best..A pleasant surprise.. Take my word and try it. U won’t be disappointed"
"Owners are friendly and courteous. Dogs are delicious, buns are fresh. At about $3 each with unlimited toppings, cheapest lunch in Totowa. On Fridays least expensive and best lobster roll in the local area, whether you opt for the butter or the mayo version. Big chunks of tail meat, not just claw meat. Fresh, not frozen. Highly recommend."
"The owners were so nice and friendly! They engaged in conversation with my young son which was extra sweet. The hot dogs were fresh, delicious and the chili cheese was a big favorite! The decor inside is super cute too, can’t wait to go again!"
"I saw this place driving on my way home from work a few times and decided to finally stop by for a quick dinner. The place is neat and cozy and the person at the counter was nice. Got a couple chilli dogs and they were very good. A snappy dog with nice hearty chili with a good amount of kick. I even got a free small bag of chips with my order! Definitley recommend for a nice quick take out meal."
