"Summary: This is the place if you're looking for Pyebaek services, hanbok rentals, custom hanboks, and custom dog accessories ;) We initially reached out for Pyebaek services for our Connecticut wedding happening later this year. They were competitively priced for their package compared to the other tri-state vendors. It was a simple process to book and we look forward to working with Hanbok Story. They also offer hanbok rentals and custom hanboks. We booked my mother's hanbok rental for wedding day. The booking process was straightforward, and the owner was very patient and helpful in helping us coordinate the hanbok pieces. My mother left happy. We also decided to get custom hanboks made (mine and fiancé). Again, the owner was very sweet in providing us guidance on choosing colors and style combos-- there's a lot of beautiful options! The custom hanboks were finished earlier than promised, so that was a pleasant surprise. We're planning on wearing ours for our engagement photoshoot. Also want to point out if you're planning on getting a woman's hanbok, you really get the full package-- the hanbok, relevant undergarments, norigae, shoes, matching bag. We also had a modern wrap top made so that we can transform the hanbok into a sort of reception dress for the wedding. As expected of custom pieces, everything fit us perfectly. Finally, I had a special custom request-- a hanbok collar for my standard poodle. I was only able to find hanbok accessories for very small dogs online, so I entrusted the owner to make me a piece to my dog's measurement. I think she thought my request was silly at first, but she didn't disappointment! Very quick turnaround (1 week shipped to me), and I'm so excited that my poodle will also be in hanbok for our photoshoot."

"I love to drive by their storefront just to see what the mannequins in the window are wearing, so I had to come here to book my Korean tea ceremony (paebaek) and rent hanboks for my wedding. They have a gorgeous selection and the woman in the store is super nice and helpful. The venue, specific room, and start time details are all worked out prior to The Day. On the day of the paebaek, everything was already set up for us which is a huge relief for a stressed bride. The woman who guided us throughout the ceremony was also kind and helpful, and allowed us to take plenty of photos throughout the process. My in-laws have never seen a Korean tea ceremony and absolutely loved it. So many relatives wanted to jump in to participate ☺️ The paebaek photos are some of the most colorful and beautiful ones from my wedding day and I will fondly look at them for many many years."
