"Nobody communicates in the HEAP office. They tell people to submit paperwork with a provided email address. My friend, Marie, did exactly as instructed. A few weeks later, I went there to drop off totally different paperwork for her and was told they didn't receive the previous email. The employee, let's call her Nora, refused to take the paperwork I planned on dropping off since the email wasn't received. I showed the email to Nora as proof and was told that we were given the wrong email address. Now, please keep in mind, the paperwork can be mailed in to the office. We chose the email option since it was more time efficient. And, both papers had different mailing addresses. I asked the employee which address was correct, and she provided a completely different one! I told her it would not only be easier for the customers but also the employees, if everyone was on the same page. She interrupted me and said, "That will not work. People in the office don't check their email." Are you even being serious right now? She told me that Marie has to call the state, provided me the number, and then said, "You won't get an answer or a call back." Marie is 71 years old, and I have called the place several times and left voicemails with no response.  The system needs a major upgrade, allowing customers and employees the ability to communicate. The inconsistency is off the charts!"

"This place is bunch of lazy liars. I talk to this lady I think Janice on phone. She tells me to bring down my paperwork with my application I got in mail. I do so today. I get there then she lied about says she never said that. These people are worthless idiots. I just asked for supervisor. This guy Mike came and I told him here's what your gonna do....since your personnel lied to me your gonna get me a postage paid envelope and I will just mail my stuff to Columbus let them handle it. These 'dullards' just don't know how to handle this at the local level. It's Friday, lazy idiots just wanted to go home. Oh well. As of today....these idiots still can't process my file. A month later. I just told them to mail my stuff back. I got this stupid call from this 'soft' sounding guy Mike/Director....what a joke....he was clueless too.....Half his staff looks like they are straight off the 'block'. And don't trust that secretary/Dora they have upstairs.....she tries to act like a case worker when she just suppose to answer phones. Lame people. Sad non-profits act like this today."
