Hess Roger a DDS

"Dr. Hess is wonderful but his front desk staff (especially the woman that claimed she is in charge of collecting the money) rude, loud and dishonest. She took me off the schedule, unknown to me. I showed up then was told that I owed too much money in a loud voice. Come to find out from the insurance company that they paid the contracted amount and what I should be paying is less than what she claimed. I sent an email stating the facts of course she sent me a corrected bill. I am still not satisfied with how the whole scenario went down."

"Dr. Roger Hess has been my doctor for the past decade, and has always taken great care of me whenever I need him. He is dependable, informative and will create time for you if you ever have an emergency. He has done multiple implants for me that are all still perfect to this day. The staff cares about making appointments convenient for you, and are always welcoming and friendly. He is without a doubt, the best periodontist in town, or the country in my opinion! Highly recommended folks!"

"I went in for my six month periodontal cleaning. My previous periodontist moved so I had to find a new one and doctor Hess came recommended. After the cleaning he came in to examine my teeth. He continuously talked to me about getting implants. He even showed me his own implant in his mouth. No other solution for my dental issues other than implants was discussed with me. My previous periodontist office always told me that cleanings were part of what my insurance covered. And there was little to no cost on my end. However, Dr. Hess Office refused to put the code in that would allow me to get free to no charge cleanings. The office said that they’re a specialty office and that they always use a certain code which in turn charges me over $100 for a cleaning which I previously never had a charge. The person in charge of this was rude and didn’t seem to care that no specialty treatment occurred during my cleaning which the code she insists on using declares. She gave me a one time courtesy of changing the code to the code my previous dentist used. Lo and behold the bill that I had which was over $100 suddenly had no charges. I had called my dental insurance and they explained to me all my previous cleanings and current cleaning is covered at no charge but what doctor Hess’s office does is put in a code that claims more than just a cleaning occurred. That is false and untruthful. My insurance company explained to me that the code Dr. Hess’s office uses suggests that there was a procedure done other than cleaning. They are not an honest office and they Fraudulently charge the insurance company which in turn charges their patients. I would never go back to them! After writing this it occurs to me that this is probably a reportable offense."

"I was not thrilled at that I needed a gum graft, but Dr.Hess and his team made the experience flawless. They were were patient answering all of my questions. The most impressive thing (other than having a very successful procedure) was Dr.Hess's obvious care for my comfort. He gave his cell number and I text him Sunday night worried about something. Not only did he respond quickly, he calmed my worries and didn't seem at all bothered that I rudely messaged him so late. I would definitely recommend him if needed."

"Dr. Hess is informative and his services are affordable. no matter how much research you do about implants it still can be a complicated to understand what would be the best procedure for you or what questions to ask. Dr.Hess made things easy for me to understand after my first visit I knew what I needed and why, I was given all my options and prices printed out, including what my insurance should cover, but the biggest thing I got from my first visit was a feeling of trust. Dr. Hess stayed in contact with my dentist to formulate a plan, in other words they did all the work and I never felt overwhelmed with understanding which options were best for me. Most of the work is done now, if I could I would give Dr. Hess 10 stars I would, one last thing, everyone in his office was upbeat and professional I enjoyed going there."
