"This place is affordable and has pretty good home cooked meals. I think my favorite was probably the burger. For where it's located and a renovated inside compared to other restaurants, this slight price increase is justified. And I mean slight price increase. Great place for dinner, friendly and clean. I've probably been to this place at least five times now! Oh and don't forget to check out like the 10+ cakes and deserts they have!"

"Nice, friendly family style restaurant. Ordered a breakfast/ western omelet and it tasted good. The toast was dry because it did not have enough butter on it, but I could have asked for more . The prices were reasonable."

"Upon entering, the restaurant carpet was worn and not clean and the chairs were ratty. Despite that, we decided to give it a chance. The silverware was old and had stains on them. The beef was stone cold on the beef and noodles, the cheese potatoes on our sampler tasted old, and the fries were NOT hand cut as advertised. The only bright spots were our waitress, who tried her best to make us feel welcome, and the chef who helped overcome this dumb rule the owner has about only cooking burgers medium well! I feel sorry for the staff because the owner clearly doesn't care and is embarrassing Greeks worldwide running a restaurant like this. We won't be coming back for sure."

"Service was excellent, food was mostly good. The bread was below par and so were the potatoes. But the blueberry pancakes were amazing. All and all - the service and the fact that we were serviced so quickly and the culture of Thano's Family Restaurant - make it a worthwhile visit. thank you!"

"I was in the mood for breakfast this morning & traveled to the Thano’s Family Restaurant in Canfield, Ohio. I was told that they have an amazing breakfast, I was not disappointed. When i arrived, I was warmly greeted by the hostess. She asked my seating preference (table, counter or booth), and seated me quickly. She adjusted the table & positioned it for my comfort, then checked the table to make sure I had everything I need for my meal. My waitress was over quickly & brought me a nice, hot cup of coffee. She was super friendly & pleasant, she then went over the menu with me. I made the selection of the Everything Omelet with a side home fries & white toast. A few minutes later my breakfast was brought to my table nice & hot. I must say the omelet was proper, lots of meat & the home fries were perfect. The atmosphere was very relaxed & calm, made for an enjoyable experience. Plus the cost of my entire meal was good, it certainly didn’t break the bank. I really enjoyed my dining experience here & I will definitely be returning in the future. If you love a proper breakfast, this is the place for you."
