"A great vintage style hardware store just as it was when I was younger and the selection is amazing"

"I usually go to this store at least once a month, sometime more often, not because it's a great store but just because it's located at walking distance from my office. Yesterday I went looking for an item, a employee offered to help me, he showed me something that could match my necessity, but I wasn't sure if the size was going to fit where I needed. The gentleman insisted and even brought the item to the cashier saying, "If it doesn't fit come back and we will refund you" Of course I didn't fit therefore today I went back for a refund. The cashier begun asking questions, showing little interest, and I just explain that the item didn't fit where I needed, two men , store employes, enter in the discussion and tried to convince me to take it back home again. I thank them but I insisted, as it was my right, to return it. The cashier asked me for my card, but the two men begun mocking me, laughing, and saying that I was really funny. Of course, I didn't appreciate it and I told them but the walked away. When I was done and the cashier gave me the receipt, I told her that in that way they just have lost a costumer, but she looked at me with a bovine expression and just said : "IT'S OK" Well I'm sure that this store is not going bankrupted without my business but there are also dozens of other stores where I can spend my money. Good bye."

"I went there for the first time, on a Sunday to get a few things. It didn't look like much when I pulled in. But it didn't take long to feel like a valued customer. The guy working there was very friendly and extremely helpful. The lady working the register was friendly too. I needed a couple other things later that day, and there was no question where I was going. They have a good selection of products. I would definitely recommend getting your hardware or whatever you need from there."

"My last several visits had much be desired. Robert told me the wrong sized screw on four separate occasions and seemed to be quite combative with a radiating odor. The store emulated that of a Petri dish with the rather unnatural quantities of insects. On a positive note, Nita was a very sweet and caring individual whom I wish the best to."
