MinuteClinic at CVS

"Made an appointment for 11am it was cancelled at 6am without notice or explanation. Asked the pharmacy what or why they didn't really have an answer or help. Apparently they're closed but google says they're open. Wasn't able to get an app 8/6 but allowed for 8/7. Unbelievable especially since they gave zero explanation as to why my appointment was cancelled and I have a ear infection"

"My 6 year old daughter was seen by Somia Abou-Osman today. The NP was kind and efficient and provided excellent care for my daughter. We were seen immediately upon arrival. The nurse that took my daughter’s vitals was so sweet. Both the nurse and the NP spoke directly to my daughter and made her feel seen. We were seen at our scheduled time and left with a diagnosis and a care plan. I highly recommend this location and these two individuals who provided us with quality care."

"I went there for an issue with my ear. My ear felt extremely clogged & hurt terribly. The women I seen was extremely nice, but she misdiagnosed me saying that I had a scratch in my ear canal and sent me on my way with some ear drops. My ear progressively got worse & I ended up having to pay to go to another dr only to find out that I had a raging ear infection with a mass amount of pus built up behind my ear drum. The doctor told me that those ear drops were making it worse over time & that I was lucky that my ear drum didn’t rupture due to the extreme pressure. I will not be going back to the minute clinic as it was clearly a waste of money, & put me at risk for a more serious injury."

"They won’t take anyone that walks in. Some lady was there with her daughters talking to the nurse practitioner about her father not on an appointment and asked if I needed help. I said yes I’d like to be seen for an ear infection she said they were booked I said the list of people on the board said they are not present. The lady stated “we have to give them 15 minutes and if we take you it will run into the next one” there was nobody there at the minute clinic and nobody technically checked in. I said so if none of the scheduled appointments show up you won’t see anyone today? She said yes. This is why Emergency departments are full because people who have minor issues cannot get seen. The nurse practitioner Gina did not have the decency to step out and explain the situation. Highly disappointed. Whoever the blonde lady was in the gray tshirt there with her daughters needs fired for turning people away. They weren’t “booked” just LAZY."

"Autumn Jones is great at what she does. Very nice and welcoming. She creates a relaxed atmosphere, and does not judge at all. She treats the patients as quick as she can. I have not waited long when I do walk-ins at this CVS. This is my preferred place to go when I do not have a family doctor."
