"****EDIT**** I typically do not edit reviews but we had an unfortunate experience during our last cut. If my son gets a stylist he hasn't had before I generally let them know (as discreetly as possible) that he is very ticklish and also has autism but I stay right with him and know how to handle anything that might happen. Well, another stylist overheard me telling his stylist and I'm assuming she didn't know she was speaking to MY mom and made some statements that didn't sit well with me. She said "Parents come in all the time and inform us that their child has autism. I don't understand why they feel the need to tell us....it's not like we can do anything different for them." Yes, in fact they DO...every other employee treats my son with such kindness and compassion and in my eyes, especially as a parent, that goes a very long way. My mom didn't tell me about the incident until the next time we went in to get haircuts my son got that stylist. She was impatient with him and didn't speak kindly to him. Then she sprayed a product on his hair that I had never seen used before; I asked her what it was and she literally looked at me and said she doesn't know what it is and had no knowledge of the product. It wasn't in a branded spray bottle just a regular one and it was a milky white. It smelled very good but it definitely struck me wrong. If you're putting product on my child's hair/head I am entitled to know what it is. At the very least, ask permission to use this unknown liquid on my child. After we left my mom then told me what that woman said during her previous cut. I'm a little upset and I don't want to speak to a person until I'm sure I can do so respectfully. My family and I always have a GREAT experience here. My son has autism and depending on the day, he can be quite active...add to that the fact that he's VERY ticklish....he moves around a lot..EVERY employee is ALWAYS very patient, kind, and understanding. They truly make his experience awesome. Each one knows he waits for his lollipop so he doesn't even have to ask. As for myself and my mom they've always cut our hair exactly the way we asked. My mom has coarse; grey; and curly hair which requires a certain cut and she's always satisfied when her cut is finished!! A++ in my book."
