"This review is based on 6 visits to On The Rise bakery. Their selection of breads is outstanding. My all time favorite - rosemary focaccia. The reason for 2 stars is my 3 experiences with tofu Bahn Mi. According to the website (and a sign inside the cafe), this sandwich should contain the following ingredients: Cleveland Tofu, Pickled Carrots and Daikon, Jalapeno, Cilantro, Special Sauce. I tried this sandwich 3 times. Only once I had cilantro and daikon. The other 2 times it was just a tiny bit of carrots, no cilantro, no daikon, and definitely no jalapeno. The photos clearly show that the sandwiches look very different. I do not know if this is a fault of a cook or deceptive trade practice and I am very shocked and disappointed."
"Wonderful place! I got a latte and a chocolate chip cookie, it was perfect! Little pricey, but not any more than most local trendy coffee shops. The sandwiches looked amazing, I definitely want to go back to try one. I liked that you could see into the kitchen, everything looked clean. Only negative, not very great bathrooms. Not kept to the same standard as the rest of the place."
