"Please please please notify your patients if the wait time is going to be longer than 30 min. I have been currently waiting almost an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment. (First appointment A few weeks ago was a similar wait). A lot of us have to reorganize our day to make these appointments work. I don't feel particularly good about wasting an hour of my day in a waiting room... The least they could do is to call us and say "we're a little behind, please come in a little later". Edit: Thanks for the reply - Totally understand emergencies happen, I'm not expecting to be put first in those types of scenarios. Still would love a courtesy call to help reshuffle my schedule if the wait is going to be nearing an hour. I've experienced excessive waits twice so far, so I wanted to just provide a suggestion to the reception staff to see if they can be more proactive in consideration of patient's time spent. For example: I don't think Revere has this policy, but for other health care facilities, cases where patients are late/no show to an appointment, a silly "fee" can be charged to the patient. Just an example of it's okay for the doctor to make you wait an hour, but heaven forbid a patient is an hour late, ya know? :) I'm not as frustrated as my review probably makes it seem, just wanted to plant some seeds to help the patient waiting process in the future. The GI team and doctors are all great over there, appreciate what you do!"

"Don’t seem to care about their money patients that much depending on who you talk to. I’ve been experiencing a lot of stomach problems for awhile now. It took awhile to get in. I got c diff. They put me on antibiotic but didn’t let and didn’t have any plans to have me follow up after to see if it cleared or not. The c diff almost killed me and it took more than one round of antibiotics to get rid it of it. I had a colonoscopy and EGD done. They said they found I had H-pylori so called them to find out I could treat it. It was urgent and losing my insurance. It took a week before they got back to me and they then told me that I didn’t actually have H-pylori. I got really sick with nausea, vomiting and not being about to eat. They said the soonest they had was a month out and if I wanted to be seen sooner but someone else I would have to get permission from the other doctor. I’m super sick and they are making me wait at least a month to be seen."

"This office is awesome starting at the front desk. The office assistants were happy and smiling and pleasant to check me in and out. I saw Tomeika who is a nurse practitioner. She explained everything in detail to me after I told her my symptoms. She showed she cared which isn't always the case. She discussed possible diagnosis with me and was thorough. And she was pleasant and happy too! Great vibes in the office and I was very pleased with my care. I definitely recommend this office."
