"It has been over 6 months since i’ve moved out of this apartment I have called and left messages and emails several times with no response to my deposit. I have tried to get legal action involved with absolutely no response. this is the WORST PLACE TO LIVE they will not answer and they do not care about the tenants here."
"PEG Property Group should be ashamed of the way they treat their residents. Between construction, blocked driveways, unanswered maintenance calls, lack of amenities (or, better, amenities being removed due to construction), and consistent lack of response or communication from the management, I cannot believe they are able to even charge rent. I have been more than patient before writing this review, however, my flexibility ends when I am told I can no longer park at my own residence for up to a month due to them removing the parking structure. "Park up the road in a random parking lot at your own risk, and you're not allowed any guest parking". This is after power outages, broken appliances and utilities, inability to leave/return due to construction vehicles blocking the entry/exit and being asked to move into a hotel for "a few weeks" by management. The construction crews leave trash scattered everywhere, which would be picked up valet until they cancelled that because the valet company stole a bunch of stuff from the lounge. That stolen stuff was never replaced and the lounge was instead filled with gym equipment and office furniture when they demolished the first floor. The lower floor of the parking garage is filled with construction equipment. The third and fourth floor are under construction. They start working between 645 and 7 every morning and if you have a day off during the week, or work from home ever, the noise is extremely disruptive. If any of this was communicated, this would be generally acceptable, however we are left in the dark about 100% of decisions and expected to just go with the flow. PEG and Brick Lofts have combined to create one of the worst living experiences I've ever been a part of. Do your research, and if anyone is looking at properties, skip this and anything in the PEG portfolio."
"I've been residing at Brick Loft Apartments for a while now, and it's been a positive experience overall. The complex is consistently clean and well-maintained, which is something I greatly appreciate. Service calls are addressed in a reasonable amount of time, showing that the management takes tenant concerns seriously. One of the standout features for me has been the reasonable pricing. It's refreshing to find a place that offers quality living without breaking the bank. However, there is room for improvement in the gym facilities. I believe adding more equipment like bench presses and a squat rack would greatly enhance the fitness options available to residents"
"This apartment is very pretty, and in a great neighborhood. However, I would not recommend actually living here. Pros: - On site gym - Washer/dryer units - Spacious/ high ceilings/ aesthetic - Good Neighborhood - Nice neighbors Cons: - Management is always changing and in turn makes for a bad living experience. i.e. broken doors, smoke alarms, sinks not being tended to for weeks. They were always losing documentation, leaving me with fees I was not supposed to be paying. And getting anything taken care of took more than one phone call most of the time - Sound insulation between apartments is terrible. You can literally hear your neighbors conversations, word for word, bar for bar. If someone is watching TV/Listening to music/ etc, everyone can hear it from everywhere. You really get to know your neighbors - Electric bill is insanely high. I was paying roughly $250 a month in electricity to power a 2 bedroom apt. This was just to run the ac mostly. It is not as bad in the winter, as the building is already warm. But summer is expensive - Windows in apartment do not open, some rooms have no windows at all. This makes the space feel very prison-like. You can only get fresh air from going outside or running ac/heater - Hallways (2nd, 3rd, 4th floor) Are not ventilated at all. There are no vents or windows. There is only automatic spray air fresheners around every corner. This leaves the hallways smelling quite bad with the combination of people putting their trash out in the hallways. Not too mention with the lack of vents it is just muggy and hard to breath in general No hard feelings on this place. I enjoyed my time. But would never live here again."
"This place is extremely noisy. You can literally hear conversations from your neighbors. Not only that, but smells (like cooking for example) travel between apartments, and you can't open the windows. There is also no insulation to speak of, your heating bill in winter and cooling bill in summer will be absolutely ridiculously high. Alarms will go off at ungodly hours. Furthermore, because there are no doorbells and the outside doors require a keycard or the app to open after hours, good luck having friends over. Parking is generally not safe, to the point where police parks in the garage as deterrent. The good news is that the location is convenient, management is friendly. Hence the two stars - but only just."
