"West valley housing are overwhelmed with few employees, trying to do a lot. Sometimes having to deal with rude demanding people who expect immediate responses. Give them time and when they have a moment of time and if they have a moment of time, they will do their best to get back to you. Make sure you are calling the right office and or department, that would handle your or your families case. Make sure that you have the necessary information in front of you. Like all medical receipts small ones taped to a page, all of them with your info written on it. Bring all the paperwork they require of you so you don't waste their time on appointments. Making them have to reschedule. Taking up valuable time of your caseworker, who could use their time calling back the hundreds of calls they get a week. We all need to work together to help our caseworkers and to help eachother. Remember all our caseworkers want to do is help us, lets make it as easy as possible on them so that they don't lose their joy in helping us."

"I give this housing authority a huge thumbs up. They go above and beyond to try and help people. I heard the lady ahead of me screaming at the secretary, she just remained calm, smiled and told them she was sympathetic to their situation however, they could not break the rules for them and not everyone. i Love my caseworker and think they are totally on top of doing everything they can to be of service. As long as people abide by the rules they will not be in trouble. I highly recommend working with the staff at this agency."

"Discriminated against us saying we made too much money after months and months and phone calls and phone calls. Director miscalculated in the first placed and won't give a second look. We are living on two disability check and child support for four people and that's income is too much? We barely put food on the table... We can't pay the bills... How can they say we make too much money.. they won't answer phone calls.. I have to leave messages.. And they tell me to apply again?? For What?? so they can reject me again??? Is bad enough to be disabled... divorced... have to apply for assistance, but rejected because I make too much money when I can not enough put gas in my car... WOW... I have read reviews about them in other places and sure enough, they are bad... I didn't know I was going to be discriminated in the 21st century in West Valley again.."
