"Esplin Hardwood Flooring repaired and refinished our hickory hardwood floor after a pipe leak this winter. The pipe leak has been a nightmare, but one bright spot is that we were introduced to Dan Esplin - and he made our floors look even more beautiful than they were brand new. (I can't stop looking at them and am thinking of excuses not to move the furniture back so I can see them completely, without obstruction!) Dan was super easy to work with even when he had to work his schedule and equipment around other contractors fixing other damaged areas at the same time. His prices are very fair and he shared really great tips about maintaining the floors - like recommendations for furniture pads and floor vents, and when to refinish years in the future so that it stays looking this nice. I highly recommend Esplin Hardwood Flooring and I've definitely saved his contact info for anything we need done in the future."

"He told us twice he would do our wood floorings. Strung us along for months. We paid deposits bought flooring. He told me he would get the wood flooring that needed replaced then blamed me for missing a week of work when he came the first time because he couldn’t get the wood. My neighbors all loved him that had used him so I gave him a second chance. We had him come over and make sure we had removed the tile mosaics to his liking. I order the wood flooring the second time so see didn’t have that issue again. I did forgot to clean out my pantry floor. I told him I would get neighbor to come clear the few items on my pantry floor. We were out of town. He walked off the job no explanation, “just didn’t feel right about.” After we had ripped apart our flooring to his liking. DO NOT USE HIM. He’s not honest. We got our first bid in August and 5 months later the job wasn’t done. I wish I understood why."

"Highly recommend Dan’s work, he took our kitchen floor that was worn and yellowed, you could feel every seam and joint, water damaged etc and after the refinish we have a beautiful new floor. Floor is hickory which required some extra steps to take the darker stain and it turned out perfectly. Dan was prompt, professional, the work was completed right on schedule and with very minimal to no mess to clean up. Very reasonable price and well worth it considering how nice the floor turned out. He gave great recommendations on cleaning and maintenance of the floor, on felt pads for the tables and chairs, I anticipate that we won’t need to do anything to this floor for years now, but when we do we will be sure to have Dan come back."

"Dan did an amazing job on restoring a wood floor from the 1950s and installing a laminate in our wet room. All of his work went above and beyond our expectations. We had previously asked another wood floor company to check and see if the floors were worth refinishing, they said “it would be like polishing a turd”. Dan was willing to try on a inconspicuous spot and quoted us what it would be to replace and refinish the floors. He completed both jobs quickly and professionally. I highly recommend his work.
