"My 2019 F-150 XLT has SYNC 3 for multimedia, etc on the screen. It was freezing and not turning off after the truck was turned off and not working properly. After a while of this happening and not resolving, I called the dealership to get some help to better understand the issue and how to resolve it. They said they weren’t familiar with the issue and I should get a service appointment so they could look at it. When I brought it in they said they needed to run a diagnostic as it could be any number of things. The diagnostic was $250. I reluctantly agreed, being offered no other options or suggestions and worried something was really wrong. After they ran the diagnostic, which took at least a couple hours, they called and said I was behind on my SYNC 3 software updates. They then offered to install the update for another $250. Are you kidding me? I called them with a software issue. It is 2023. The first suggestion on the phone should have been to make sure the software version is up to date and even tell me where to look and point me to a link to get instructions on how to update it. Instead, they made it sound like it was an unusual problem that they needed to look at so they could get money out of me. This is ridiculous. Ford and Ford dealers need to do better."

"I was very displeased with the customer service skills of service advisors and service manager. When asked questions or showed concern they weren't forthcoming and gave false information. I wouldn't recommend any Tim Dahle locations to anyone. Sales, service, and experience in general was terrible."

"What can I say about Ford Service at Tim Dahle? It's a money making scam. I took my car in for a recall. They then proceed to text me a list (they couldn't even call me) of what is wrong with my car. and how much it will be to fix it. Out of the 6 other items on the list this time, one was dirty break fluid. I mention this because 2 months prior I had a break line burst and had to have that fixed which also included new break fluid. Pretty sure that in 2 months break fluid doesn't get dirty enough to need replacing. Add to that the exorbitant pricing for their service and you come away wishing you had never taken your car there. Unless you absolutely have to use their service department, do yourself a favor and go to a reputable mechanic and pay half of what Tim Dahle will charge you. This was not the first time I have had an experience like this with them. What is most unfortunate for them is that in the next few months I will be looking for a new vehicle and I love Ford vehicles. I will NOT be using them to purchase a new vehicle. DO NOT take your car to Tim Dahel Ford Service!!!!"
