"My experience with him is pretty similar to what was described above when he acted as special Master to the other reviewer. In my case Chris Wehl acts as a parent Time coordinator and he completely fails at it in every sense that he has worked with me in. I have worked with him more recently and he completely ran up the bill and clock sky high. He absolutely failed at resolving the issues and it went to court anyway. He never even gave his recommendation and my ex went right over his head straight to court. This guy is an absolute clown and you should take your children and run as far and fast away from him as possible. He will take your time and money and leave you with nothing in return."

"AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! If I could give him less stars I would. Super quick recap on this guy. We had a custody evaluation where my ex had all her parental rights practically taken away. She was given supervised visits and ordered to have no overnights. For context a custody evaluation took almost six months and picked apart every possible facet of our lives. After her insane behavior the courts ordered this guy as our special master due to the fact that my ex had no attorney and literally filed some nonsensical requests with the court on a bi monthly basis. This special master from the get go did my ex wife’s bidding. He attempted from day one to undermine everything the custody evaluator recommended I couldn’t believe it. Upon reviewing his case history it was obvious this was his playbook and all he did historically was try to get equal parent time for both parties with blatant disregard for the well being of the children and in an absolute affront to months of work by custody evaluators. My attorney and I worked like crazy to finally get this guy permanently thrown off our case with countless examples that his recommendations went directly against the custody evaluation but also against every single recommendation of their current therapist whom they met with on a regular basis. This freaking guy would never even return the calls or emails of the children’s therapist and never met with the kids despite constant requests to do so and to sop disregarding their therapist to do the bidding of my ex. It was insanity!! To give further context of how unbelievably an inept special master he was for my children and I is that after he was shown the door by a functional judge, my ex wife had her parental rights permanently severed by the state of Utah less than one month after his dismissal. In short that means she has been permanently removed from my children’s lives. This guy is an absolute disaster and anyone who wants the best situation for their children should avoid him like he’s patient zero. He isn’t concerned with anyone’s children or the recommendations of therapists or custody evaluations but rather his own bias agenda. If his name comes up on a short list for anything get your children and run in the other direction until your legs give out! He will do his best to wreck your families lives!!!!!"

"Once in a while my wife and I will come in to see Dr. Wehl. We’ve seen him a few times over the years when our relationship needs a little tweaking. We’ve even seen him when things are going well. It’s important to get on the same page with your spouse/partner. I have found Dr. Wehl to be very professional, knowledgeable and fair. He provides my wife and I with good structure and ideas to communicate more effectively and he does not take sides. We’ve come along way over the past 18 yrs of choosing to be married.
