"During my pregnancy in 2016, I visited Jeanette Carpenter, MD for a second opinion on my placenta previa. The staff and Dr. were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The entire visit took a total of about 30 minutes. A YEAR later, we unexpectedly received an $1800 (before ins) $450 (after insurance) bill from them!! We were shocked at the amount billed and the gross neglect in getting the bill to us in a timely manner. And When asked why they didnt bill us sooner, they had no response. They also would not work with us to reduce the bill. It took me hours of calling back and forth between drs office, insurance company and outsourced collections companies to figure out what had happened--to no abail. We are honest, on time bill paying people who had money saved to pay for these expenses when they occured--not a year later. I would not use their office again. Sloppy billing experience!"
