"Idle Isle ambiance, food, and service is top notch! We had a group of four for dinner this evening. We each ordered something different and everyone said their meal was delicious. The waitress was attentive and kind. The owner checked on us, too. Homemade rolls and apricot jam warmed us while waiting for our dinners. We recommend you take a step back in time and visit Idle Isle for a lovely meal and luscious dessert on historical Brigham City Main Street!"

"Great bison burger and fries. Great grilled hamburger steak served with sautéed onions, and mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes. I loved the prompt and happy service. All served in historic booths or tables with local art and historic photos. I still Love the orange marmalade jam served with homemade rolls. The prices are very reasonable and they even have different daily specials. Still the same great place."

"Always an awesome meal with the family or solo. The rolls are outright amazing! The complimentary homemade apricot jam tastes amazing. Every Entrée has been great! Chicken Fried Steak, Pot Roast Sandwich, Fish and Chips, Hamburger Steak and so many more are excellent! The salad is the perfect side. The Fried Zuchinni we just tried Saturday and that is a new hit! The kids meals cover all the bases for the pickiest eater. We have loved this place for years!"

"Love the small town atmosphere. Love the non chain vibe. So personable from the the decor to the customer service. We started out with the cheese curds- these were ooey goodness with homemade ranch. Onion rings were fresh breaded with a crispy outside and hot onion inside, the fried pickles were fresh breaded as well. Crispy and hot. The Cowgirl Kate with fried pickles, pepper jack cheese was cooked mw but still juicy. The pickle added crisp to the burger and pepper jack cheese and spicy homemade ranch were a huge hit. The chicken strips were your typical basket. We had their homemade mashed potatoes with a hint of garlic. Yum, yum. Fresh rolls were delivered hot and soft. The food is fresh, hot and the service is so very personable. A must visit with a return visit in our future. Also, try their malted milkshake. McKynlee was a super friendly. This is why you visit non chain restaurants. The personable, friendly service, the atmosphere and food."

"The atmosphere of this place is really nice. I like the old timey feel and I learned that it is the oldest active restaurant in Utah which was a cool little fun fact. Chloe was an amazing and incredible server and hostess and a lot of fun. She made the experience all the better. The Idleberry lemonade was from freshly squeezed lemons and completely homemade, and it was absolutely delicious. The rolls were also homemade, dense, thick, yet still soft and delicious, especially with the fresh homemade apricot jam. I had a very delicious white chili chicken soup along with fish and chips and my friend had the chicken fried steak and both were also very delicious. We would definitely recommend coming here again."
