"This hidden gem is a must stop when you are in the Cedar City area. You will need a vehicle with good road clearance and four-wheel drive for the non-paved portion of the drive, and for if you traverse down by the shore on some of the inclines there. This is a very beautiful reservoir with clean water and wonderful views. I was here this month in July and on the drive up, slow down and take the time to enjoy all of the immense fields of wildflowers while they are in bloom. Traffic is light, but it is a narrow road to drive on and then as I mentioned finally becomes unpaved. There is camping here, if you have a boat or kayaks or canoes bring them, or just walk into the water and swim around and float. Overturned some rocks in the shallow water and you will find many crawfish. My daughter and her boyfriend live in Cedar City as they attend college here, and this is their new go to spot just about every weekend in the summer."

"Absolutely a trip worth taking. The road is less traveled by tourist that are visiting the valley on the south end of Zion National Park. We enjoyed exploring the mixed use of National Park lands and private lands. Highly recommend this trip to view other parts of the park."
