"Had my card billed on March 31 and until today (April 20) my order status is “processing” in the website. Tried to contact through email five times and through website messaging two times. So far... no answer. No order status update. No product. Only a billed credit card. Still waiting a response back."
"While they were nice and usually have decent prices, I was told a sportiva tx2 fits just like a boulder x, And they are on completely different width platform than boulder x, which caused comfort and performance issues. They were nice enough to offer store credit but I would have to pay shipping.... while working in the climbing shoe industry myself I understand mistakes are made but if I told a customer something fit just like something else and it didn't I would feel the need to take ownership for that mistake. "I have ordered Edelrid Shield II Helmet from Gear Express and i had to wait some time untill i got in touch with customer service.They seem to be nice people and after a few chats I found out that my card was not charged so i had to pay for it via Paypal. After completing transaction everything went smooth and i had to wait for item to arrive for some time since i live in Europe. Item was priced way cheaper than in Europe, they ship internationally via USPS which is cool since i try to avoid express services like Fedex , DHL and similar since they tend to rip off people here for handling before customs duties and VAT. At the end it was worth the wait. Also gear selection is great and prices are very competetive.They have clearances, outlet, daily deals, etc... I recommend getting in touch with them before placing an order just to chek stock and iron out details if you have some special requests."
"Gear Express is a great company and Blake is awesome. He knows his gear and goes out and uses it, so he is a wealth of practical knowledge. The last time I went ice climbing with him, he brought at least 4 different ice tools for us to try out. This is the place to go for all things climbing."
